Come join world-class professional athletes, Summer and Winter Olympians, and acclaimed celebrities at one of Utah's premier golf course for an extraordinary event supporting an exceptional organization. The Shea Foundation is a nonprofit organization created to pass on the Shea Family legacy of leadership, sportsmanship and community service by providing education and opportunities to developing athletes and youth in need.

Over the past year, the Shea Foundation has continued its ongoing mission to fund developing athletics by providing several individual sponsorships and scholarships; donating equipment, grants and services to underfunded programs and organizations; and supporting Winter Olympic venues.

This year The Shea Foundation is pleased to announce several new programs and partnerships which will be supported through this fundraising event. The first new program is a partnership with the DaVinci Academy of Northern Utah. The DaVinci Academy is an educational organization dedicated to the promotion of arts and sciences. The Academy will be starting a Sport's Technology program sponsored by The Shea Foundation where students will have the opportunity to use the principals of physics and engineering to design and manufacture athletic equipment.

The second new partnership is with the Utah Avalanche Center. The Shea Foundation has committed to fund, “Know Before You Go” - an avalanche awareness program which aims to inform youth and young adults through educational seminars and assemblies in Junior Highs, High Schools and Colleges. Through this unparalleled program The Shea Foundation hopes to help the Utah Avalanche Center keep people on top of the greatest snow on Earth, rather than buried beneath it.

The Shea Foundation is also pleased to announce the opening of the new Big Brothers - Big Sisters office in Park City, Utah. The foundation is working with Big Brothers - Big Sisters in fundraising efforts for the organization as well as raising awareness of what their organization has to offer to the community.
